Activist duo Mike Bonanno and Andy Bichlbaum make up The Yes Men. On their website about page they call their work "laughtivism" as humor is an essential element in their work. For just over 20 years The Yes Men have been posing as representatives from major corporations such as Exxon, Shell, the Federal Government and more as well as creating fake campaigns and websites as satire of existing sites or online campaigns.

The Yes Men Fix the World (2009) |
The Yes Men Fix the World was sued by the US Chamber of Commerce so they distributed the movie through torrent websites. In an interview with TorrentFreak, Mike Bonanno said:
"There are a few reasons why we chose BitTorrent. First off, it's a way to avoid censorship [...] This version includes video of an action against the US Chamber of Commerce that we are being sued for. No commercial outlets will touch it. We had a TV show scheduled on Planet Green and their lawyers nearly wet themselves when they heard we wanted to use footage of us making political mince-meat out of the largest lobbing organization in the world"
